Probably one of the all time monumental fanzines because, hey, it's the first place we saw the wizardry of Richard Corben! Editor and publisher, Rudi Franke, knew a good thing when he saw it! And we are all the better because of it. One of Corben's most loved characters Rowlf (seen above in his "just a dog" form), appeared first in this fanzine. You will be able to read part one of this Rowlf story here, and part two is in issue 17, which I already covered here. A nice addition to the story is a medium length interview with the master of color and form.

Many of you already know that Corben made a habit of making models of his characters to help with lighting ideas and such. You can see some of these in this issue of Infinty. Corben also loved his martial arts...below is one of many fight scenes Corben did so well.

The bawdy illustrations above accompany an appreciative article on Frank Frazetta by Franke. Most of us have probably seen all these images by now, but back then, this must have felt like a gold mine! There are images from EC, Warren, and many other sources. I thought it would be fun to incorporate another great artist, and probably the best flyer of the Frazetta torch, Tom Grindberg. First, you will see the famous first page of Frank's Squeeze Play, then a fun photo recreation from Tom (using, as Tom told me on Facebook, the same boardwalk Frank used for his story).
