Satchel Paige and more (Breaking the Barrier)

Here's a more conceptual sports painting, of course done for Revolutionary Comics again. The painting represents the black baseball players (in this case, Satchel Paige, Jackie Robinson and Hank Aaron) breaking the color barrier in the then all-white baseball leagues. The amazing thing is, in needing to find out the colors of the uniforms (all the photos I found were in black and white of course), I talked to Satchel's actual catcher...an incredibly nice man (can't remember his name, tho...any real baseball aficionados out there?).
