Here you can see a few layouts for the repackaging of a miniseries I did with Warren Ellis for Caliber awhile back. I chose the top layout because the bottom one looked too much like she was looking over her shoulder and I wanted a more conceptual look. Top right was used inside the hardcover, while the bottom right was an idea for embossing on the hardcover. I also like my masthead logo too (on the top left sketch), but they decided against it.
