Philip Seymour Hoffman

An assignment given in my Portrait for Illustration class in which we had to do a stylized portrait of a subject that could be on a Rolling Stone cover. I wanted to convey the 'sad sack' quality of the actor and his roles as well as being boxed in by those very same roles. Oil, apprx. 10 x 13.
