Ron Sexsmith may look 12, but he makes music for adults. I first heard about him when, in a Q magazine poll, Elvis Costello said ron's first release was the best thing he had heard all year. That was all I needed!

And he was right, that first one, Ron Sexsmith, has some wonderful songs. Understated, melodic, with an almost childlike voice to match the innocence of the lyrics....no eunni, irony or world-weary angst here, folks. The last couple, "Whereabouts," "Blue Boy," and "Cobblestone Runway" are also wonderful.
