Abigail

An old painting, and done in a more detailed style than I do nowadays. I can't remember if I actually intended to have the painting be that multihued character from the comic book or not, but one funny thing is...look in the background to the right and that bunch of trees actually looks like Swamp Thing's head. Purely unintentional though. The biggest thing I remember is that, for some reason, DC/Vertigo's Karen Berger (the line's editor) walked my hero, Dave McKean over to the art show (with sheepish me in tow) specifically to see my painting. Oh, if I could only say it got me tons of work at DC.
